What is Adopt a Card?
Want to become a part of Fame & Fiction history? Adopt a Card is the best way to get your name in the game and other unique perks while supporting the development of the game as it moves toward full release.
Art commissions are underway for Fame & Fiction's full release. The full release will feature all-new decks, with some returning characters from the beta and many new ones. Adopt a Card is your way to get your name on the card of your choice when the game gets a full-release and help to subsidise the cost of producing artwork in the meantime.
In addition, you will permanently receive the "Pantheon" role in the official Fame & Fiction Discord channel. This role grants access to members channels and brings your name to the top of the server.
To Adopt a Card, you make a donation of £100 which goes directly towards the cost of producing artwork for the game. Find the Webstore page for Adopt a Card here.

Your Favourite Character in Fame & Fiction.
Is there a character in history, myth or folklore you want to see in Fame & Fiction? Now is your chance to make sure that character appears in the game. With Adopt a Card Premium you will work directly with the designer of the game to choose a character to add to the game and even influence how the card works in the game. The donation of £250 also comes with the perks of standard Adopt a Card (Your name on the card and the "Pantheon" Discord role).
Please note that some characters may not be possible if they are not in the public domain or if their name or likeness are protected. In general, historical figures from the 1800s or earlier, mythological gods or creatures, or characters from traditional folklore are most likely to be possible. Card functionality is ultimately subject to the game designer's discretion. Please be aware that some designs may not be possible/feasible and that play testing may necessitate re-designs. The game designer will endeavour to keep the spirit of the adopter's design.

Which Cards are up for adoption?
The full-version of the game is currently in development. Many of the cards that will feature have already been locked in and there are many more that are still to be confirmed or designed. Most of the cards that have been locked in already will feature in the new starter decks. Three starter deck themes have been confirmed: Greek Gods (completely redesigned), Cyptids/Monsters and British Folklore.
Below you can find a list of cards that have been confirmed, but do not have commissioned artwork yet and a gallery of artworks that have been commissioned already. All cards are available to be adopted, whether the artwork has been commissioned already or not.
